AQUEOUS COATING

• Tote Pumping Systems for Disposable & Returnable Totes

ACTEGA Kelstar has expertise and is experienced with the design, construction and use of aqueous coating tote pumping systems that improve materials handling and process control. The system tremendously reduces the handling and transporting of drums in the pressroom and reduces the risk of back injuries to operators due to handling drums by hand. The use of ACTEGA Kelstar's Aqueous Coating Tote Pumping System tremendously increases available warehouse storage as a result of the reduction of drum usage.

• Bulk Tank Storage & Delivery System

The ACTEGA Kelstar Bulk Tank Storage & Delivery System offers the most automated materials handling greatly increasing efficiency and space utilization in the pressroom. This system incorporates electronic controls along with two 40,000 lb. capacity tanks and is designed to pump aqueous coating directly to the press coater circulation system through a press side holding tank which greatly improves productivity by reducing material handling and job process times.

• Specialized Mixing Systems

ACTEGA Kelstar’s specialized mixing systems are designed to mix coatings in drums, totes and bulk tanks to provide better uniformity and process consistency while running.

PRESSROOM

• Fountain Solution Proportioning Pump System

ACTEGA Kelstar’s Automatic Fountain Solution Proportioning System enables the user to improve pressroom process control and productivity. Fountain solution can be remotely stored in a chemical room and be precisely dosed and pumped to the fountain solution circulation system, which saves valuable time. No longer will the fountain solution mixture be susceptible to human error. The system becomes indispensable as it efficiently pumps precisely measured fountain solution each time to improve process control and print quality.

• Reverse Osmosis (RO) System

ACTEGA Kelstar’s Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems are high performance filtration systems designed to treat water and remove all impurities to improve water consistency and print quality. RO Systems are available with in a variety of sizes to accommodate various water requirements.
