ACTEGA Kelstar manufactures a full range of both sheet fed and web fountain solutions and alcohol replacements for high quality commercial work, labels and folding cartons. Whatever your press type, Heidelberg , Komori, Man Roland, Mitsubishi, etc., our formulators have a specific solution designed to maximize ink/water balance and runnability on your press. Starfount fountain solutions are formulated for sheet fed presses to:

• Provide exceptional ink & water balance with lowerwater settings
• Provide a Wider Window of Latitude with Increased ColorControl
• Reduce Start Up Waste
• Run " alcohol free " in continuous dampening systems

SHEET FED FOUNTAIN CONCENTRATES

Starfount^TM Sheet Fed fountainsolutions are designed as two-step products that utilize afountain concentrate and alcohol substitute. The combinationof these two products enable our formulators to provide maximumlatitude which enables pressmen to reduce water settings andcomfortably run alcohol free while maintaining quality andproduction requirements. Starfount fountain solutions shouldbe used in conjunction with a select Starfount alcohol replacement.

We have a variety of formulas available designed to improveprint quality and dot reproduction by minimizing sensitivitywith difficult ink pigments, CTP plates and are non reactivewith calcium.

WEB FOUNTAIN SOLUTIONS

This series of Starfount one-step fountain solutions areformulated for use in conventional brush or continuous dampeningsystems.

ACTEGA Kelstar's web fountain solutions are formulated with enhancedrunnability to optimize ink & water balance while eliminatingink build up on slip rollers and minimizing the effects ofpaper piling. We have products specially formulated to optimizeStochastic printing.

For use in continuous dampening systems, consult a ACTEGA Kelstar technician for the proper one step fountain solution / alcoholreplacement or a two step fountain solution that should beused in conjunction with a select Starfount alcohol replacementto best meet your requirements.

Duplifount fountain solutions are formulated to run "AlcoholFree" on small presses with Silver Master Megalith &Onyx silver diffusion plates. Duplifount fountain solutionsare extremely versatile and also have excellent compatibilitywith metal, paper and plastic plates. Duplifount productsare designed to run on a variety of small presses that areequipped with both integrated & split dampening systemsby reducing the amount of water required.

Electrostatic Fount is formulated to run on small pressesthat use Zinc Oxide (electrostatic plates) or metal plates.Electrostatic Fount keeps the non-image area extremely cleanwhich prolongs plate life. The pH of Electrostatic Fount ismildly acidic for excellent compatibility and excellent inkdrying without emulsifying ink on the press. ElectrostaticFount has exceptional runnability and will not crystallizein the tray or in the concentrated solution.
