ACTEGA Terra was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 in 1993 for the first time. Numerous re-certifications of this quality management system followed. The high emphasis on environmental protection in our company is reflected by our certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001.

Since 2010, our HACCP system  - based on the Codex Alimentarius - is independently certified. With this HACCP certification we show that ACTEGA Terra and our coatings fulfill international hygiene and food standards. HACCP applies to all organisations that deal with the production, the processing and the selling of foodstuffs. With the objective of highest possible safety, we go one step further in the supply chain. Thus, not only food manufacturers and producers of food packaging are HACCP certified, but also us as a manufacturer of coatings that are applied on foodstuff packaging.

In addition, we carry out many measures for highest product safety:

• Selection and use of suitable and highly purified raw materials 
• Quality controls of raw materials and coating batches
• In-process-controls at all manufacturing levels
• Regular analysis of raw materials and coatings by independent testing laboratories
• Reference samples of each batch
• Tests of coatings with regard to product and customer specific requirements
• Implementation of specific industrial and national regulations
• Storage and production in high-value steel tanks
• Automated production with additional filtration system
• Extensive know how with regard to food law, packaging law and chemical law by means of our highly qualified product safety department

As a certified Sony Green Partner ACTEGA Terra fulfils the strict requirements of the Sony Corporation by avoiding the use of substances that are dangerous to the environment and hazardous to health. Currently, there are 16 ACTEGA Terra coatings listed in the Sony Green Partner Book for various requirement profiles.
