The high grade finishing of printed products with effects is an effective way of providing differentiation. It is gaining ever more importance in the production of printed products.

TerraEffekt stands for a variety of eye-catching finishing materials, such as pearlescent coatings, gold and silver coatings, opaque white, coloured coatings and matt/gloss systems. By means of this, the most varied and very striking effects can be obtained which enhance the printing subject. TerraEffekt effect coatings offer an effective and efficient possibility of adding value to printed products in the inline process.

Compared to traditional coatings effect coatings are mostly characterized by an extension using special pigments. For the respective machine types, both waterbased effect coatings (physical drying through hot air and infrared) as well as UV based effect coatings (immediate curing through ultraviolet radiation) have been developed. In case of pearlescent and metallic coatings the balanced formulation between coating and effect pigments is of special importance.

TerraEffekt effect coatings are designed to meet the requirements of respective printing presses. They have proved themselves in practice and are based on extensive technological experience.
