Coatings for counter-glued printed products
Counter-glued printed products combine the advantages of corrugated board with the quality of offset printing. Corrugated board provides a good stability and is made to cope with heavy loads. Thus, packaging for heavy goods - such as detergent packaging or displays which require a special stability - can be manufactured.
Printed in offset, counter-glued printed products are suitable for the point of sale due to their quality. They fulfill their promotional function in an exceptional way.
By means of waterbased adhesives, the printed and coated sheet is glued on the ready corrugated board. Therefore these coatings show highest wet block resistance in order to be suitable for the following counter-glueing. Due to this characteristic, process security and a fast further processing in the lamination process is guaranteed.
Additonally, TerraWet waterbased coatings fulfill requirements such as scratch and scuff resistance or adjusted slip angles. Requirements from especially slippery to not slippery are also considered.
