Coatings for multipacks

Beverage trays and other multipacks require special coating characteristics. As a substrate, a kraft board with integrated glueing is used which is particularly wet and tear-resistant.

The production of beverage trays happens in close coordination with the packaging machines. The slip angle of the beverage tray plays a decisive role. Coatings are especially adjusted to those slip properties that are required in the packaging line. From slippery to not slippery, coatings are exactly adjusted to the required value. By means of special quality controls and a consistent high quality, the defined slip properties - and thus a trouble-free packaging process - are ensured.

The coating's high wet block resistance enables a safe packaging process even in humid environments. The high scuff resistance provides a perfect and glossy appearance of the packaging.
