UV coatings for labels

Labels are often highly specialized and innovative printed products which must satisfy a great number of requirements. TerraGloss UV coatings are ideally suitable for an optimal protection and the highly brilliant finishing of labels.

Due to the high utilization of non-absorbent substrates such as cast-coated and metallized paper or plastic film, UV systems are very suitable for label printing. Their very good scratch and scuff resistance does not only provide the correct appearance in the further processing of the printed product, but also during its partly very long life duration. Also in difficult application situations (as for example shower gel) TerraGloss UV coatings protect the label in a reliable way (chemical resistance). Furthermore, they provide a very high wet block resistance.

A specialty is UV coatings for inmould labels that are characterized by heat resistance and their problem free suitability for being processed in injection moulding. All UV coatings are provided with very good running characteristics on the machine and can be easily separated and further processed.

TerraGloss UV coatings convince by their low odour, good flow-out and their optically perfect high gloss surfaces, but also in dull matt.
