Coatings for multipacks

Beverage trays and other multipacks place special requirements on the coating. A kraft board with built-in gluing is employed as a substrate, which is especially tearproof and wet resistant.

The production of beverage trays runs in close coordination with the packaging machines. The slip angle of the beverage trays plays a decisive role in this case. These coatings are adjusted especially to the slip properties which are required in the packaging line. From slippery to not slippery, the coatings are adjusted exactly to the required degree range. Through special quality control and as a result of the consistently high quality, the defined slip properties are ensured and, with that, a trouble-free packaging process.

As a result of the high wet block resistance of the coatings, the packaging process is not a problem even in humid environment situations. The high scuff resistance guarantees a correct and glossy appearance of the packaging.
