Playing card coatings

The production of playing cards places special demands on the coating, because it plays a decisive role in the quality of the card and thus to pleasure in card playing.

As well as an appealing gloss, it is especially important that the coating rejects hand sweat and moisture. In this way a good playing experience can be guaranteed. All playing card coatings are designed for high demands and are noted for particularly high scuff and scratch resistance.

ACTEGA Terra offers coatings which have proved themselves millions of times in practice for quartet, trading and playing cards. They conform to the European Standard EN 71-3 and fulfill the requirements on toys and toy packaging.

Especially for casino playing cards, such as for example poker cards, special requirements apply. The TerraWet gloss coating for casino cards is noted for an outstanding level of surface slip, with the best fan for casino cards for an ideal flow of the game.

Even the hot and humid climate of the regions in which a lot of the large casinos of the world are located does not represent any problem for this coating. At high humidity, the coating retains its excellent fan capabilities and playability.
