ACTEGA Schmid Rhyner turn surfaces into experiences.

With the motto "Success through Quality" ACTEGA Schmid Rhyner is one of the world's leading providers in the field of print finishing. Their primers, overprint varnishes and laminating adhesives are recognized as innovative, measurably efficient and uncompromisingly safe. Benefits they express in the slogan "Swiss Brilliance in Coating". Customers from the printing and packaging industry rely on their products in more than 100 countries - UV-curing coatings and adhesives from the WESSCO® brand, water-based coatings from the GALACRYL® product range, as well as solvent-based BRIVIO® products or DIVAR® products for digital varnishing.

Their market solutions are subject to strict quality requirements and guidelines. At the same time, they continue to develop in terms of sustainability and environmental friendliness. For example, they have developed strong barrier coatings that can protect the contents of a packaging perfectly against oils, greases or water - without the addition of a polyethylene film. Or silver POLAR products, which are proven to be more environmentally friendly for metallic applications than conventional metal foils. For sensitive packaging (low migration) they even developed a unique EPPI® technology (photoinitiators), which is used specifically for food packaging.

ACTEGA Schmid Rhyner's varnishes are ideally suited for the finishing and refinement of sheetfed offset, web offset, flexo printing, flexo inline, hybrid, narrow web, gravure printing, screen printing and digital printing.
