This combination of Velvet Touch tactile coating, UV-based gloss varnish and embossing provides a high-quality finishing.
Having printed with conventional inks, a water-based matt coating was applied full-area. To simulate the mushroom surface, we selected the Velvet Touch haptic coating. This was followed by the partial UV gloss varnishing of our miniatures and the tree trunk. The tree trunk structure was then directly transferred to the UV varnish (embossing).

A LASTING IMPRESSION
The tree trunk - in the July motif a central element for our miniatures on trekking. No wonder that a special effect had to be chosen here. With the help of a stampable UV varnish and a special embossing plate, the tree structure was directly transferred to the printed image. By the way, you can realize - among others - lines, patterns or shapes in this context. The embossing result: great effects and printed products for a lasting impression.
