Depending on your application, you are able to work safely and legally compliant with these types of coatings. Having printed with conventional inks, a water-based FoodSafe gloss coating was applied full-area out of the coating unit. This product has also been ToySafe certified. Again, from the coating unit, we used the FoodClass UV gloss varnish partially (finishing of crane, miniatures and lid). Finally, the full background of the calendar motif was provided with a FoodSafe dull matt coating out of the coating unit (crane, complete cup and miniatures left out).
