TERRAWET® Gloss Coating G 9/370 FoodSafe-060

Water-based gloss coating for the production of folded boxes. The product has been FoodSafe certified. It is low migration (global migration limit < 60 mg/kg, EU cube model), compliant with the Swiss Ordinance (SR 817.023.21) and can be applied in the direct contact to dry and fat-including foodstuffs. Moreover, the coating provides a high crackling tolerance and shows a good runability.

The coating belongs to our FoodSafe series. FoodSafe is our portfolio of water-based coatings for the direct food contact, as a minimum to dry and fat-including foodstuffs. These coatings have a low potential for migration and they do not contain undesirable constitutional components such as mineral oils (MOSH, MOAH), heavy metals or phthalates. They are compliant with the Framework Regulation EU No. 1935/2004 and the Plastics Directive EU No. 10/2011 (PIM). They also correspond to the Swiss Ordinance (SR 817.023.21) as well as to the Good Manufacturing Practice Regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006.

This product has been assessed against the criteria of the Material Health category in the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Product Standard and was awarded a Gold level Material Health Certificate by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute.
