We have extensive experience in developing high- and medium-performance adhesives for specific, demanding requirements. Our core area of expertise is the development of product solutions for direct contact with food and colored adhesives in a wide range of tones.
In a drive to expand our portfolio, ACTEGA is investing in laminating adhesives for universal use.
Which adhesive suits my specific application conditions?
High performance
Quadruplex laminates (four layers) such as PET/Alu/oPA/PP for stand-up pouches with maximum filling resistance. Triplex compounds (three layers) such as oPA/Alu/PVC for cold-formed topical blisters. Duplex compounds (two layers) such as Alu/PP for sterilizable applications up to 134°C, for food and pet food packaging.
Medium performance
Triplex compounds (three layers) such as PET/Alu/PE for stand-up pouches (especially for dry contents and non-sterilizable foods), refill packaging, and drinks cartons.
General purpose
Duplex compounds (two layers) such as

ACTEGA laminating adhesives are GLYMO-free
Reliably safeguarding consumer health is our top priority. When it comes to applications that involve (direct) contact with foods, we painstakingly investigate the safety of the relevant raw materials and use only materials that verifiably comply with food regulations (such as FDA and EU directives).
To be on the safe side, we have decided not to use any GLYMO at all in any of our adhesives. Our R&D team has succeeded in developing adhesives that are GLYMO-free and still offer outstanding performance.
What benefits do colored laminating adhesives offer?
ACTEGA’s colored adhesives combine a decorative appearance with functional properties.
By pooling our core skills, we are opening up new opportunities in packaging design for our customers. Thanks to our extensive experience in developing high-performance adhesives and our expertise in colored product solutions, we have succeeded in launching a laminating adhesive that can be customized for the relevant brand owner design. The outstanding coverage and brilliance of our adhesive facilitates custom, high-end packaging design.
Our colored laminating adhesives are solvent-based, BPA-NI, and suitable for direct contact with foods.
Can white laminating solvents reduce process costs?
Yes, they can. Our white laminating adhesives can be used instead of printing a full area white, which can speed up the process and drive down process costs. What’s more, they give our customers the opportunity to print additional colors for special packaging designs.
Our white laminating adhesives are solvent-based, BPA-NI, and suitable for direct contact with foods.
