Barrier Compounds

The scavenger and barrier technologies are two different ways to protect taste and to extend the shelf life of different filling goods.

Barrier Compounds are specifically designed to protect filling goods from ingress of gases like oxygen or 2, 4, 6-trichloroanisole (TCA) and other VOC´s, leading potentially to sensory deterioration of beverages like beer, juices, and others.The retention of carbon dioxide inside the bottle is improved.
