dmax

Digital spot and relief coating for sheet substrates

dmax stands for „digital maximum“ and is an innovation in digital coating technology. As the first large-format digital coating machine, the dmax is the result of a joint development by ACTEGA and its partners Steinemann Technology AG from St. Gallen and Druckhaus Mainfranken. Both companies are experts in their field and have extensive experience.

What makes dmax so unique is its dimensions: It is the first large-format digital coating machine.

THE TECHNOLOGY

dmax is a technology that sets new standards in the high-end finishing of printed products. For example, it can spot-coat up to 10,000 sheets per hour. It can process sheet sizes from 300 x 300 mm to 1,080 x 780 cm. Moreover, this robust press combines maximum availability with an innovative, patented inkjet process for excellent coating quality. It releases few coating phenols and requires less pretreatment.

Advantages of dmax:

  • Minimum set-up times
  • Wide range of coatable substrates
  • Fast job throughput
  • Maximum efficiency
  • Low production costs
