In many application areas, digital printing is becoming the new standard. Solutions such as overprint varnishes, basecoats or primers have to meet a variety of requirements. Primers, for example, are relevant to substrate enhancement. It is their task to provide a very high surface adhesion and to increase the dot-sharp color reproduction.

LEP primer for label applications
This LEP primer is a state-of-the-art, water-based solution, developed in partnership with HP and now part of HP’s expanded primer portfolio. Optimized for the HP Indigo 6K, 6K+ and 8K Digital Press series, the product delivers superior print results in both in-line and near-line applications.
The LEP primer is suitable for different kind of labels produced on a wide range of substrates – including coated and uncoated papers, synthetics, and metallized materials. Its streamlined workflow design ensures ease of use and maintenance, making it a reliable choice for high-performance printing environments.
LEP primer for paper and board applications
This water-based LEP primer was developed by HP Indigo and ACTEGA through their strategic partnership. Specifically designed for the use with HP Indigo 30K and 35K Digital Presses, this advanced primer simplifies clean-up procedures and is characterized by many other stable technical attributes.
Its versatility makes it the ideal choice for substrates such as paper and board, as well as metallized board.
ACTDigi® for metal packaging solutions
Digital inkjet printing is gaining ground in the metal packaging industry, particularly for general line and aerosol cans, where smaller production runs are jeopardizing the traditional offset printing process.
Thanks to its improved wettability, the new ACTDigi® white basecoat – specifically designed for inkjet digital printing – reduces ink consumption by up to 70%. This reduction in ink not only provides financial advantage, but also significantly reduces the relief of the inks, thereby improving the performance of the overprint varnish.
