ACTEGA Draws Attention at Fakuma 2024

At our booth, a visitor highlight was the presentation of our revised TPE products in the ProvaMed^® range for applications in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, such as pharmaceutical stoppers, infusion sets, and medical tubing. In addition, we introduced several ISCC Plus solutions, which were well received, emphasizing the growing demand for effective methods of carbon footprint reduction. The ISCC Plus mass balancing process enables users to reduce their CO₂ footprint, with the materials serving as a “drop-in solution” to ACTEGA’s conventional TPE. This enables seamless use without requiring requalification or recertification of the material.

Furthermore, our sustainable ice cube molds, made from our TPE material SOFT EST.^® 2180 TL in cooperation with BOY and Rea Jet, were met with enthusiasm. BOY, a well-known injection molding machine manufacturer, produced the ice cube molds live at the show, which could then be individually lasered at our booth thanks to a CO₂ laser from Rea Jet. The ice cube mold, with a CO₂ footprint up to 61% lower than conventional variants, proved to be a very popular giveaway.

Overall, ACTEGA looks back on a well-attended and generally successful trade fair with many exciting discussions and numerous new contacts. We would like to thank all visitors and partners who contributed to the success of the trade fair and look forward to the next Fakuma in October 2026.
