ACTEGA impresses with innovative solutions at K fair 2025
ACTEGA was once again an exhibitor at the K trade fair in Düsseldorf this year. From October 8 to 15, 2025, around 3,200 exhibitors from the plastics industry gathered at the world's leading trade fair for plastics. The fair attracted a total of around 175,000 visitors this year – an impressive testament to the importance of K as a platform for innovation and networking in the industry.
New TPE compounds for medical applications
ACTEGA focused this year on medical TPE compounds, especially for tubing applications. Visitors were impressed by the newly introduced products ProvaMed® 4075 TP and ProvaMed® 4066 TP: The materials offer outstanding mechanical properties – including excellent kink resistance, high transparency, and optimal processability – and thus set new standards for the manufacture of medical tubing.
Focus on TPE grades for safe baby applications
Another highlight was the presentation of TPE compounds for baby applications, which are a safe alternative to silicone. They are free of latex and PVC, easy to process, and meet high safety and hygiene requirements. They therefore offer a reliable material solution for sensitive products in the baby sector.
Overall, the K trade fair 2025 saw high visitor numbers at the ACTEGA stand and offered numerous opportunities for professional exchange. Promising project inquiries were initiated and new cooperation opportunities discussed during intensive discussions. The next K trade fair will take place again in 2028, where we at ACTEGA GmbH will also be present once more.
