ACTEGA Reflects on a Successful INTERPACK 2026

Throughout the seven days of the trade fair, the ACTEGA booth in Hall 8a attracted a wide range of visitors – from long-standing partners to new contacts – all sharing an interest in the future of packaging. A diverse selection of printed samples enabled visitors to experience how the solutions perform in real applications, combining visual effects with functional properties to meet the demands of modern packaging.

A key part of the booth program was the series of Expert Talks held during the event. Covering topics such as the German Ink Ordinance (GIO), barrier coating solutions, and the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), the sessions offered valuable insights into current industry developments and reinforced ACTEGA’s role as a trusted partner in navigating increasingly complex requirements.

Particular interest was shown in solutions for recyclable, paper-based packaging. ACTGreen^® Barrier Coatings demonstrated how protection, performance, and recyclability can be aligned to support more sustainable packaging. ACTEGA’s portfolio for direct and indirect food contact applications also attracted strong attention, underlining the continued importance of safety and compliance in packaging development.

Another highlight was the ACTDigi^® LEP Primer, a modern water-based primer for HP Indigo 6K, 6K+, and 8K presses, designed to enhance print quality and adhesion. In addition, ACTEGA showcased its expertise in flexible packaging and presented ECOLEAF^®, its on-demand metallization technology, which reduces CO₂ emissions and material waste while delivering high-quality metallic effects.

Strong engagement and positive feedback throughout the week confirmed the high interest in ACTEGA’s solutions and the importance of open exchange across the industry. INTERPACK 2026 once again demonstrated that collaboration is key to addressing future challenges. ACTEGA thanks all visitors, customers, and partners for the valuable discussions at the booth.
