Dantex introduces ECOLEAF Technology in PicoJet Press
Cooperation boosts sustainable label innovation
Dantex Group has partnered with ACTEGA to integrate the ECOLEAF metallization technology into its PicoJet range, elevating the printing experience and expanding the variety of effects achievable with UV inkjet presses.
With ECOLEAF providing an eco-friendly alternative to hot and cold foiling, the move highlights Dantex's commitment to innovation and sustainability in the digital inkjet label sector. The partnership between Dantex and ACTEGA is driven by a shared ambition to introduce innovative and value-added solutions to the digital inkjet label industry. By incorporating ECOLEAF's eco-friendly technology, Dantex aims to bring even more appeal to its cutting-edge systems by elevating the printing experience and expanding the range of stunning effects achievable with PicoJet.
Designed for a broad variety of markets, ECOLEAF is a digital solution enabling metallization embellishments onto self-adhesive labels. Traditional foiling methods typically result in 80-90% waste of foil, whereas ECOLEAF utilizes a glue trigger layer shaped like the intended image, to significantly reduce waste. This innovative process jets metal flakes, adhering them to the glue layer to create a metallic image. This approach not only eliminates waste, but it also allows for the creation of multiple metallic colors.
Ben Danon, CEO of Dantex Group, said: “We are excited to introduce this eco-friendly technology to our PicoJet range of digital UV inkjet presses, and we believe that this partnership will help us to achieve our sustainability goals while providing our customers with highly innovative and visually impactful solutions.”
Both parties strongly emphasize the environmental and sustainability benefits of this collaboration.
